PDF Tile Maker

Basically the same as Poster Tile Maker but it is for pdf document. You can re-scale any pdf files smaller or bigger. If it is bigger thatn your printer paper (which is A4, A3, or Letter), then it will automatically make a tile where you can glue it later.

Safe edge marginmm

The edge your printer cannot reach. 8 mm is the safe default: inkjets typically reserve about 3 mm at the sides but up to 13 mm at the bottom. Lower it only if you know your printer.

Overlapmm

The spare strip you lay over the neighbouring sheet. Together the two settings absorb a printer border of up to 13 mm before the seams start to gap.

Cutting guides

Grid referencePrints B3 in the margin, matching the preview. Corner marks - for cutter Cut & align lines - for scissorSolid line on the edges you cut, dashed line where the next sheet lands. Each join carries the same code on both sheets, so CUT A1-A2 always meets GLUE A1-A2. Shade the glue areaTints the strip the next sheet covers and prints the join code on it. The finished poster hides the strip, so it costs nothing but a little ink.
